Indira University’s School of Commerce and Economics proudly hosted Trade-A-Thon 2025 from September 16th to 18th, a National-Level Stock Market Simulation Competition that drew an overwhelming response from across the country. With over 200 registrations from cities such as Jamshedpur, Delhi, Bengaluru, and states including Karnataka, Punjab, and Jharkhand, the event established itself as a dynamic platform for aspiring traders and finance enthusiasts.

The competition was designed to give students an opportunity to experience real-world trading through simulation. Participants tested their analytical skills, decision-making abilities, and financial acumen in a high-pressure yet engaging environment, making Trade-A-Thon 2025 both an educational and thrilling experience.

The event concluded with the felicitation of winners, whose outstanding performance set them apart. The 1st prize was given to Ashish Keshwani from the School of Commerce and Economics – Indira University, who received ₹5,000, a trophy, and a certificate. 2nd prize was awarded to Prajwal Adaki from the School of Information Technology – Indira University, who received ₹3,000, a trophy, and a certificate. And the 3rd prize was received by Mukund Mishra and Yug Agarwal from Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, who were given ₹2,000, a trophy, and a certificate.

All finalists were also awarded certificates in recognition of their participation, competitive spirit, and dedication throughout the event.

The success of the competition was further enriched by the presence of industry experts. Special thanks are extended to Mr. Aditya Mahse, Mr. Kalpesh Hippergi, and Mr. Vallabh, who served as judges and shared valuable insights from the world of finance and trading. Their expertise provided participants with a practical perspective that complemented the simulation experience.

The event was also graced by CA Mohsin Nadaf (Director, ESPA Education), whose presence added prestige to the proceedings. His encouragement, along with the constant support and motivation from Dr. Anjali Kalkar, Dean – School of Commerce and Economics, inspired students to cultivate strong financial literacy and sharpen their skills for future endeavors.

Trade-A-Thon 2025 was a day where learning came alive, curiosity met challenge, and every participant left with a little more confidence, insight, and inspiration than they brought in.
