The Capture Club Presents: Exploring Nature via Lenses
On 11th February, the Universe Campus at Indira University transformed into a creative hub as The Capture Club hosted Exploring Nature via Lenses β an inspiring session dedicated to the art of seeing the world differently.
The highlight of the event was the presence of Mr. Kedar Bhat, an award-winning photographer, filmmaker, wildlife and landscape photographer, and mentor. With years of experience behind the camera and countless stories from the wild, he brought both expertise and passion to the session. His journey through forests, mountains, and untouched landscapes gave students a glimpse into the dedication and patience that true nature photography demands.
Mr. Bhat shared valuable insights on framing, light, perspective, and storytelling through images. More than technical skills, he emphasized observation β the ability to pause, notice details, and connect emotionally with the environment before capturing it. Through real-life experiences and powerful visuals, he demonstrated how photography can become a medium of awareness, conservation, and creative expression.
Students engaged enthusiastically, learning how to transform simple moments into compelling frames. The session encouraged them to look beyond the obvious and discover beauty in everyday surroundings.
At Indira University, initiatives like these nurture creativity while fostering a deeper appreciation for nature and responsible storytelling. Exploring Nature via Lenses was not just about photography; it was about perspective, patience, and seeing the extraordinary in the ordinary.
