Pune International Dance Festival 2026 β Grace in Motion, Purpose in Partnership
The Pune International Dance Festival 2026 on 31st January 2026, hosted by Indira University β School of Liberal Arts, was nothing short of magical. It was an evening where feet spoke fluently, stories flowed effortlessly, and tradition found a vibrant new rhythm on stage.
The festival opened hearts with powerful classical dance performances by specially abled children, reminding everyone that art knows no limitations. Their grace, confidence, and expression moved the audience deeply, turning the stage into a celebration of resilience and talent.
Beyond performances, the event created space for meaningful dialogue. A thought-provoking panel discussion on Dance & Mental Health explored how movement can heal, empower, and nurture emotional well-being. Insightful perspectives shared by Kalyani Kane and Hrishikesh Pawar added intellectual depth and contemporary relevance to the celebration.
A significant milestone of the festival was the signing of an MOU between Indira University School of Liberal Arts and Kalasadhana Bharatanatyam Academy, marking the beginning of a purposeful partnership dedicated to preserving and promoting classical arts.
More than a festival, it was a reminder that dance is not just performance β it is expression, inclusion, dialogue, and connection. Pune International Dance Festival 2026 truly embodied grace in motion and vision in action.
