Indira University has taken a remarkable step forward as we officially signed an MOU with Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, Vashi – Mumbai, one of India’s most respected institutions in the world of classical arts. With this collaboration, the School of Liberal Arts moves into a powerful new chapter, one that nurtures voices, preserves tradition and elevates artistic excellence with the depth it truly deserves.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Ashutosh Misal, Dean – School of Liberal Arts, Indira University, expressed heartfelt gratitude and pride. He shared how deeply honoured he was to sign this MOU with Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, acknowledging the presence of esteemed dignitaries – Mr. Jadhav, Registrar- ABGM and Mr. Suryavanshi, President – ABGM, Sir, whose support and partnership made this moment possible. He emphasised that this collaboration is a transformative leap, one that will take Indira University to a higher plane of artistic learning and open new pathways for SOLA to grow, thrive and shine.

Dr. Misal also expressed sincere thanks to Dr. Tarita Shankar, President Designate – Indira University & Chairperson and Chief Mentor – Indira Group of Institutes, whose vision stands at the heart of this milestone. He highlighted how her deep love for classical music and the arts has led to the creation of the School of Liberal Arts itself. Her commitment to nurturing talent across all creative forms continues to shape the identity and strength of SOLA.
