The journey from academic life to the corporate world is a big leap and an entirely new landscape – the one that demands adaptability and resilience. To prepare students for this transition, Indira University organized an insightful two-day session – Campus to Corporate on September 15th and 16th. This two-day event brought together renowned industry leaders and thought influencers, offering students valuable perspectives on leadership, change, and future readiness.

The program was inaugurated with an address by Dr. R. L. Bhatia, CEO – Fun and Joy at Work, whose session on Change Management Perspective & Future set the tone for the gathering. Dr. Bhatia spoke passionately about the evolving dynamics of the workplace and the importance of cultivating a growth mindset. His insights encouraged students to embrace change as a constant companion in their professional journeys, preparing them to thrive in the uncertainties of a rapidly changing environment.

The session unfolded further with a distinguished panel of four eminent guests, each of whom contributed their expertise on different dimensions of the corporate world.

Mr. Arkajit Mandal, Vice President – Strategy & Solutions Business, Promethean Power Systems, delivered an engaging talk on “Entrepreneurship in Job – Self Development & Fostering High Accountable Teams”. He highlighted the entrepreneurial spirit that employees must adopt, even within established organizations, to create impact and drive accountability.

Ms. Purva Bhandare, Principal Partner – Global HR and Payroll, Envie HR, captivated the audience with her topic – “Future Ready 2.0: From Classrooms to Boardrooms!”. She shed light on the expectations of modern workplaces and the importance of agility, innovation, and how to lead with a people-centric mindset to shape careers.

Dr. Nidhi Dhanju, Ex-HR Head, Michelin India, presented her perspective on “The Future of People and Work”. Her address focused on the intersection of human capital and technological transformation, emphasizing how organizations are reimagining the role of talent in the age of digital disruption.

Mr. Manjeet Walia, Head – Talent Acquisition, Harbinger Group, concluded the panel with a thought-provoking talk on “Reskilling and Upskilling for the Future: Developing Adaptable Workforces”. He underlined the need for continuous learning and adaptability as critical tools for career longevity in today’s volatile job market.

Throughout the two days, the sessions provided students with a holistic view of what lies ahead beyond the campus. The atmosphere at Tapasya Auditorium was charged with curiosity and enthusiasm as students absorbed perspectives from across industries. The event concluded on a note that reminded everyone why programs like this matter and how they can help students think beyond the walls of the classrooms with the skills and confidence needed to face the real world of corporate. Indira University continues to push its students to think bigger and be ready for the road ahead.
