Indira University had an opportunity to attend the 3rd Edition of the India–Africa Conclave, hosted by Global India Business Forum (GIBF), which was held on 19th and 20th September 2025 at the Grand Heritage Resorts, Pune. This was another milestone in strengthening academic, cultural, and diplomatic relations between India and Africa. The conclave brought together eminent dignitaries, High Commissioners, industry leaders, and students to celebrate collaboration and chart new pathways for the future.

The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to all guests, followed by a vibrant procession led by African and Indian students. Carrying the flags of multiple African nations, the procession included Indira University students, who marched with pride and passion. A powerful symbol of unity and shared aspirations, the march set the tone for the day’s proceedings.

Distinguished guests were felicitated in recognition of their contributions and were honoured with awards. A proud highlight for Indira University was receiving the “Excellence in Nation-Building through Education” award. It is a recognition that reflects the University’s longstanding commitment to leveraging education as a driver of transformation and preparing students for global leadership.

Indira University set up a dedicated booth that became a focal point for meaningful interactions throughout the conclave. The booth turned into a powerful platform where Indira University representatives engaged with High Commissioners and delegates, presenting the University’s academic offerings and global vision. These exchanges created valuable opportunities to discuss future collaborations in higher education and research.

The conclave featured insightful addresses by various High Commissioners, who spoke about their countries’ growth stories, their relationship with India, and the expanding scope of bilateral cooperation. Their perspectives highlighted the importance of education, innovation, and cultural exchange as key pillars of the India–Africa partnership.

A panel discussion with select High Commissioners further enriched the program, offering thoughtful deliberations on trade, culture, innovation, and education. The dialogue underscored the potential for collaborative growth and emphasized the need for continuous engagement between the two regions.

The conclave concluded on a high note, leaving participants with a strong sense of optimism and shared purpose.
