I-MUN - Indira Model of United Nations
This two-day student conference replicates the United Nations conference, where the students gather as delegates and represent various countries. They indulge in meaningful discussions and pass resolutions pertaining to the most prominent issues faced by the world. The students learn strategic diplomacy, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and gain a deep understanding of the most pressing issues internationally. They engage in structured debates, policy discussions, and collaborative resolution drafting on pressing global issues—ranging from climate change and international conflict to human rights and global health.
This experience goes beyond the classroom, helping students sharpen skills in strategic diplomacy and public speaking. By debating diverse perspectives and working toward consensus, students develop a deep understanding of real-world challenges and how international cooperation can address them. With a professional format and high-energy environment, IU-MUN serves as a transformative platform—moulding confident, globally aware, and responsible future leaders.
