The Groove Club at Indira University had everyone on their feet, as the campus lit up with filmy flair during the Groove Bollywood Swag Session. Designed to bring out the performer hidden in every student, this high energy workshop turned the floor into a full-blown Bollywood dance floor on 27th November 2025.

The highlight of the event was none other than Akshay Bhosle, Pune’s renowned Bollywood choreographer and performance coach, known for his viral routines, signature hook steps and the kind of energy that fills an entire room within seconds. With years of experience training dancers to move with confidence and rhythm, Akshay arrived ready to turn this workshop into an unforgettable experience and he delivered.

From the very first beat, the atmosphere was electric. Students came in with curiosity, excitement and a whole lot of filmy spirit, ready to groove and learn. Akshay began by breaking down the basics of Bollywood-style movement, helping students understand rhythm, flow, and body control. His teaching style was fun, expressive, and full of humour which made even the trickiest steps feel enjoyable.

As the session picked up pace, the students dove into improving their stage presence, learning how to project emotion and that unmistakable Bollywood attitude. Akshay’s signature hook steps had everyone smiling, sweating, and syncing to the music, building towards a fully choreographed routine that brought the entire room together.
