Ganeshotsava 2025 at Indira University was marked with resounding devotion and festive energy. The 10-day event commenced with the sacred Ganesh Sthapana, where the melodic chants filled the halls of the campus with collective reverence, and Bappa’s presence was felt in every corner.

The devotion was carried forward with a visit to the revered Shrimant Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Mandir, where Dr. Tarita Shankar, President Designate – Indira University and Chairperson and Chief Mentor of the Indira Group of Institutions, and several others joined the Aarti, offering prayers in a deeply spiritual gathering. It was a delight to witness their voices intertwining with the temple bells, seeking blessings.

Adding a cultural fervor to the spiritual vibes, a super entertaining Marathi theatrical presentation – Varhad Nighalay London La made the audience burst with laughter. Its humor and drama engaged the audience, who experienced a unique blend of Marathwada and the modern life of London.

The mellifluous classical performance by Mr. Sahil Mehendale was the highlight of Ganeshotsava 2025. His soulful singing captured hearts, and the campus ambiance beamed with refined melody. His soulful singing was followed by the breathtaking energy of the Kalavaant Dhol Tasha Pathak. The electrifying Dhol Tasha shook the air and stirred every heart with zest and high-spirited energy, blending traditional beats with youthful enthusiasm.

The festival’s devotional core was enriched by an evening of Bhajan Sandhya. The hymns not only ignited spiritual ardor but also wove the community together, as all attendees found unity in voice and soul.

A day dedicated to sacred tradition, the Satya Narayan Pooja was held to invoke prosperity and harmony throughout the campuses, deepening the festival’s traditional significance.

Returning to the stage, the cultural saga continued with another theatrical delight – the second Marathi play ‘Var Varche Vadhu Var’, adding another dimension of entertainment. Its dramatic charm and hilarious elements amused the audience, reinforcing the festival’s rich cultural tapestry.

Finally, the festivities culminated in emotional but zealous Ganpati Visarjan – spirited farewell filled with chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya!”. The immersion procession was accompanied by dancing, music, and camaraderie. The energy was palpable, wrapping up Ganeshotsava 2025 with exuberance and devotion.
