At Indira University, some celebrations are not just events; they become memories that stay long after the lights fade. Held on 27th & 28th February, 2026, IU YUVAAN 2K26, themed “Virasat – The Heritage of India,” was one such experience where culture, creativity and youthful energy came together to create something truly unforgettable.

With our transition this year from a group of institutes to a full-fledged university, change was inevitable and it reflected across every aspect of Indira. Even our biggest fest evolved, as Gusto transformed into Yuvaan, growing bigger, bolder and more exciting than ever before.

The campus transformed into a vibrant canvas of expression, where tradition met innovation and every moment carried a sense of pride and belonging. Designed as a multi-dimensional fest, YUVAAN brought together a wide spectrum of activities, from AI-driven challenges and creative showcases to performances rooted in storytelling, debate and cultural expression.

From events like PromptStorm – Talk Smart with AI and AI Music – Create & Remix, to expressive platforms such as Echoes of Itihasa (Public Speaking) and Yuktivaad (Debate), the fest reflected a perfect blend of technology and thought. Creative storytelling found its place through Yugantar (Mythological Storytelling), while impactful performances came alive through Lokdharohar (Street Play) and Between Lectures (Short Film Showcase). Competitive spirit added to the energy with Ranbhumi.exe – BGMI Showdown, bringing strategy and excitement into the mix.

A standout highlight of the celebration was the La Bella Fashion Show, held on 27th February at the Dhruv Auditorium. An evening that brought style, confidence and creativity to the forefront. With students from different schools taking the stage, the runway came alive with unique themes, powerful presentations and high-energy performances. The competition witnessed remarkable talent across all teams, with IGSB emerging as the winner, setting the stage apart with their standout concept, coordination and commanding presence.

What made YUVAAN truly special was its spirit. It wasn’t just about participation, but about connection,  students coming together, sharing ideas, collaborating and celebrating individuality within a shared experience.

At Indira University, such moments shape more than just campus life. They build confidence, encourage expression, and create a sense of community that stays with students long after the event ends. IU YUVAAN 2K26 was not just a fest; it was a reflection of energy, culture, and the evolving voice of a generation.
