Indira University’s Swakiyam Centre for Incubation and Innovation had the pleasure of hosting yet another inspiring guest session on October 3, 2025, titled “Business Blocks and Bricks: Business Models & Go-To-Market Strategy.”

The session was led by Dr. Prashant Iyer, Director – Ecosystem Development at the Wadhwani Foundation, whose energy and experience filled the room with insight and inspiration. Right from the first few minutes, Dr. Iyer made everyone think beyond “just having an idea.” He reminded the audience that real success begins when an idea meets structure, when creativity finds its own roadmap.

As the discussion unfolded, our incubatees dived deep into the art of designing business models that actually work. From SaaS to D2C to Platform models, Dr. Iyer broke down what makes these approaches tick and how each can be molded to fit a startup’s unique DNA. He also touched upon something that often decides whether a business thrives or just survives; pricing strategies that resonate with customer value.

The session’s second half opened a window into Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, introducing frameworks like AIDA and Pirate Metrics (AARRR), practical, easy to understand methods that help young entrepreneurs connect their products with the right audiences.

What made this session stand out was the energy it sparked. Every participant left the room buzzing with ideas, their notebooks filled with strategies and a renewed motivation.
