It was a moment of pride for Indira University on 18th September 2025 in Bengaluru, when Dr. Tarita Shankar, President-Designate of Indira University and Chairperson & Chief Mentor of the Indira Group of Institutes, was honoured with the “Outstanding Contribution to Education” award. This accolade reflects her lifelong dedication to transforming education and making a meaningful impact on communities. The evening grew even more momentous when Indira University was honoured with the “Best Placement Institute of the Year” award at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress. Arpana Boodle, Associate Director – Corporate Relations, and Sumit Shinde, Senior Manager – Corporate Relations, accepted the accolade on behalf of the Placement Cell. This recognition is a testament to the unwavering dedication of the Placement team and the strong industry partnerships they’ve nurtured. At the event, Indira University also presented the Dr. Tarita Shankar Excellence Award to seven remarkable women. The stage at the Asia Pacific HRM Congress Awards became even more special when Indira University unveiled its logo. The logo that carries our journey, our values, and our vision for the future, was launched amongst the distinguished guests from India, Sri Lanka, Europe, and the Middle East, including Dr. Rathinavel Rajan, Dr. Deepak Sharan, Annapurna A, Kamal Sahdev, Dr. Syeda Arifa Tasneem, Rohini Rajeev, Dhivya S, Varsha Dubey, and Kumarini Seneviratne.
