An Evening That Stayed With Us β Waa Ghar ki Sudh
At Indira Universityβs School of Liberal Arts, some evenings are not designed for applause β they are meant for awakening. Waa Ghar ki Sudh on 12th January was one such experience, where art became introspection and devotion transformed into dialogue with the self.
The evening beautifully wove together saint philosophy, music, and movement in a way that was felt deeply rather than merely understood. The soulful compositions by Mandar Karanjkar created an atmosphere of quiet surrender, each note carrying reflection and reverence. Complementing this were the expressive classical dance performances by Atharva Choudhary and Gauresh Shetkar of Baithak Foundation, whose movements translated philosophy into emotion. Every gesture, rhythm, and pause spoke directly to the heart.
What made the evening truly special was its stillness. It encouraged students to slow down, absorb, and connect β not just with art, but with their own thoughts. The essence of saint philosophy unfolded gently, inviting contemplation about life, purpose, and inner grounding.
At the School of Liberal Arts, education goes beyond textbooks and lectures. It creates spaces where culture, creativity, and consciousness meet. Waa Ghar ki Sudh was not just a program; it was a lived experience β one that left behind calm minds, reflective hearts, and a renewed sense of connection.
These are the moments that shape thoughtful, aware, and deeply rooted learners.
