“Voices that stirred hearts, stories that sparked reflection!”

On 11 September 2025, the students of Indira University’s School of Business (BBA) presented a stirring nukkad natak titled “Aazadi Abhi Adhuri Hai”. The performance was more than just an act. It was an emotional journey that left the audience awe-struck.

The students infused every scene with profuse energy and passion. Through powerful dialogues, evocative gestures, and poignant symbolism, they brought to light the unfulfilled promises of freedom – questioning social inequalities, lingering prejudices, and the struggles that continue even in a “free” land. Scenes strongly depicted suppressed voices, gender disparities, and economic divide intertwined together, each reinforcing the message that true azadi is still a horizon we strive toward.

What made this natak truly unforgettable was its ability to create a spark and leave the audience thinking. When the final lines were delivered, the message rang loud: our journey to full freedom is ongoing. Whispers spread through the crowd, as the act ended with silent tears and proud nods.

A big salute to our talented students for bringing the stage alive with valour and purpose. The performance didn’t just entertain the people, it awakened them. They challenged us all to see and think where freedom lives, where it is missing, and what each one of us must do to make “āzadi” complete.
