A Proud Beginning as Indira University Hosts ‘Navonmesh’ Ph.D. Induction Programme
Indira University proudly marked a meaningful milestone in its academic journey by hosting the Ph.D. Induction Programme, Part I under Navonmesh, the Research Centre of Indira University, on Saturday, 13th December 2025, at the IT Auditorium, Sarathya Building, Unity Campus. The programme was a moment of pride and purpose for the university as it warmly welcomed Ph.D. aspirants into a vibrant research ecosystem built on curiosity, discipline and academic excellence.
The induction programme reflected Indira University’s deep commitment to nurturing a strong research culture and empowering scholars who aspire to create knowledge that matters. As the first formal step in the doctoral journey, the event set an encouraging and inspiring tone, one that emphasized thoughtful inquiry, ethical research practices and continuous intellectual growth.
The day began with registration, followed by an engaging introduction by Ms. Mrunalini Khandhre, Assistant Professor, School of Business, Indira University, who beautifully set the context for the programme. Her address highlighted the university’s vision of supporting researchers through mentorship, collaboration and a structured academic framework.
The programme was formally inaugurated with a warm welcome address by Dr. Anagha Joshi, Vice Chancellor (In-charge), Indira University, who spoke about the transformative role of research in shaping minds, institutions and societies. She encouraged the scholars to embrace their doctoral journey with passion, perseverance and a sense of responsibility, reminding them that research is not just an academic pursuit but a meaningful contribution to the world of knowledge.
Adding clarity and direction to the day, Dr. Shubhangi Salokhe, Dean – Research, Indira University, presented a comprehensive overview of the Ph.D. process.
