12th National & 10th Student Conference On Emerging Trend in Information Technology

The National & Student Conference on Emerging Trends in Information Technology, held on 23rd January 2026 at Indira University, unfolded as a day of meaningful academic exchange, thoughtful dialogue and collective learning. From the moment the conference commenced, the atmosphere across the campus reflected a shared sense of purpose and curiosity among students, faculty members, and invited guests.

The proceedings began on a respectful note with the National Anthem, setting the tone for a day rooted in academic integrity and shared values. This was followed by a warm welcome address by Dr. Janardan Pawar, Dean, School of Information Technology, who highlighted the importance of such platforms in encouraging students to engage with emerging ideas and contribute confidently to academic discourse.

The conference was honoured by the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Manish Bhalla, Vice Chancellor, D. Y. Patil International University, Akurdi, Pune, who was formally introduced and felicitated as the Chief Guest. The event also included the felicitation of the Invited Speaker, Dr. Shilpa Bade-Gite, Director & Professor, Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Science & Technology, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Tathawade, acknowledging her contributions to academia and research.

The inaugural address by Prof. (Dr.) Punam Bhoyar, Pro-Vice Chancellor, set a reflective tone, emphasizing the evolving role of information technology and the responsibility of academic institutions in preparing students for this dynamic landscape. The Chief Guest’s address that followed further enriched the session, offering valuable insights and encouraging students to think critically, innovate responsibly and remain adaptable in a rapidly changing technological world.

A significant moment of the conference was the release of the conference proceedings, marking the culmination of student and faculty research efforts and reinforcing the importance of documentation and scholarly contribution.

Throughout the day, students actively participated by presenting their work, engaging in discussions and sharing perspectives with confidence. The auditorium remained vibrant with conversations, both formal and informal, that extended beyond the sessions themselves.
